Even though we are still only at the beginning of the 2013 villa holiday season, we are now taking villa rental bookings for 2014 at Quinta dos Lirios.

Our villa has proved popular with visitors as it offers the chance to rent an Algarve villa in a beautiful tranquil location. It has its own swimming pool and maid service twice a week.

Quinta dos Lirios garden update - over the winter we have been working on a new shaded seating area near the swimming pool.

The new covered pergola offers you the chance to sit in a shady corner whilst enjoying the beautiful gardens and views across the Algarve countryside.

The wooden pergola is next to the swimming pool so you won't have far to go for a cooling dip.

This delightful covered sitting area is also a place where you can relax and eat out of the midday sun.

We have also added other new pergolas and introduced a variety of new plants and shrubs to the garden. Guests who rent the villa will hopefully enjoy these new features.

Restaurant update - 'O Branquinho' in Estoi, which has featured as a favourite for many years, has changed ownership.

Fatima has retired and a new owner is in charge. It is still very friendly and welcoming with most of our favourite Algarve dishes.

If you like Italian, there is a new restaurant on the sea front in Olhao called 'Pizza na Pedra' . This is a little more expensive than our local restaurants but it is smarter and worth a visit.
